Meet the Doctors of Imagine Chiropractic
Dr. Jill Braaten Helmin
By the time Dr. Jill was in high school, she knew that she wanted to become a chiropractor. She’d gotten results by seeking chiropractic care but didn’t understand the way it worked. With an inquisitive mind, she set out to discover more about the profession and realized it was a perfect fit. “I became a chiropractor to help people and add joy to their lives.”
Dr. Jill attended Wilmar Community College and Dowling College in Long Island, New York. There, she was a student athlete participating in volleyball and softball. She graduated from the biochemistry program, then turned her attention toward obtaining her chiropractic education. She enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University back in her home state of Minnesota.
Dr. Jill has studied numerous chiropractic adjusting techniques, allowing her to deliver excellent care to all ages and conditions. She holds a certification in the Webster Technique for expecting moms. Additionally, she is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
Dr. Carolyn Urbanski
While in high school, Dr. Carolyn began experiencing hip issues. It held her back from participating in gym class, and she started experiencing problems in school.
Her mom suggested visiting the chiropractor, who asked Dr. Carolyn what she wanted to do and recommended chiropractic as a future career path. She thought it was interesting and later experienced the many benefits involved in chiropractic care. “I knew this was what I was called to do.” Soon, her headaches went away, and her GPA went up!
Later, Dr. Carolyn’s sister brought her child to the chiropractor for colic and reflux. Seeing these conditions improve and hearing other people’s stories about how chiropractic care touched their lives reinforced her decision to enter the chiropractic profession.
Dr. Carolyn attended Northwestern Health Sciences University to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. While there, she began to focus on pediatric care. She holds a certification in the Webster Technique to assist pregnant moms and has studied prenatal and pediatric care.
